Commuting With Psychos??

Reposted from Thursday.. blogger ate the original >:/

express bus to hell, all aboard!Today was a beaut... until I got on the bus to go over to my friend's house after school (ha, I sound like a kid). The bus was that ungodly warm that is warm enough to put you to sleep, but too warm to let you get too comfortable.
The vents were running, but it was just recirculated air, not AC. It's kind of like sitting under a hair drier set to low, but it was AIR, so I managed to get to point at me.

And then this woman gets in and sits down next to me, and tries to do the same.. but she's not even moving the little vents, she moving the reading lights LOL

So I'm sitting there under a hair drier while having this fun lightshow business going on on a 5 mph ride through lower Manhattan, while this longtime smoker woman fiddles with what she believes are the air vents for close to 5 minutes.

It gets better.

She curls up with her knees up in the air next to me while complaining about the air. I reach up and point one of the air vents at her. It's not much, but it's something.

So at some point I nod off, around the Brooklyn Battery tunnel (connecting Brooklyn to Manhattan) and wake up on the highway. I'm really sure where we are at this point, so I decide to ask her. "Are we on the Island yet?"

She turns to me, really slowly and mumbles a single word to me...
