Robbed.. Out Of Their Minds!

My parents had their carpets replaced about a week ago. Lots of moving things, dust bunnies, unplugging and pluggin electronics. In other words, a pain.

Then they noticed a silver box I'd given them years ago was missing. It was filled with rings and other assorted jewelry. I couldn't believe that the carpet guys had robbed them! Maybe my folks had moved it, hiding it so it wouldn't be stolen, and then forgot? Nope, they looked everywhere. Oh mannnn...

A day later, it reappeared, in a shoe box. They had to call the carpet place and apologize for accusing them of stealing stuff.

I just heard from a co-worker about something on the radio... this woman is suing Con-Ed. Apparently, she fell on a hot grating, and "ON" was burned permanently into her hip.

I started laughing "Oh my God.. she's been branded!"

That was funny............the part about the woman being branded and your parents........ My cousin lost some money in a motel in Tennessee once. but, i don't know if i believe her..because she stayed there again the next year. If ppl stole from me...i sure as hell wouldn't go back.
keep on blogging...............

Yeah, I heard about that. She's a skateboarder or something. Ya gotta admit, it's more original than sticking a detached finger in a bowl of Wendy's chili!

I was seriously hoping the Wendy's thing would turn out to be a fraud. After McRat and McChickenHead, and my own experiences at BK, I saw Wendy's as the last bastion of decent cheap fast food.
After all, no one's going to notice the Rat or Chicken, but a finger, employees leaving work on a Friday tired, thinking," hmm.. have I forgotten something at the plant today? Hmmm.. hard to think with all this blood loss...".

What made me laugh about the "branding" is that her brand would be backwards, and it would say "NO".
